Today we’d like to introduce you to Sydney Price.

Sydney, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Hi! My name is Sydney Price, creative strategist and content creator helping entrepreneurs and businesses develop their brands to build strong audiences online with meaning filled content strategy.

In 2015, I started my YouTube channel in search of a platform to authentically express myself. Now, almost five years later, with over 200,000 views attained I’ve expanded my dream to include people around the world looking for ways to share their stories and create meaningful content. It is my intention to bring innovative strategy and a unique creative approach to impacting and connecting with your audience. I’m also in my senior year of studying Psychology at Spelman College in Atlanta and use my studies to help me develop content that attracts and engages with my digital audience.

Before I started creating visual content, I was an avid writer and performed my poetry often at local slams and talent shows. My brand started to gain a larger following in 2018, when my poetry videos went viral on Twitter. As a direct result of that I started creating content around personal development and relationships that helped me grow to the platform I have now. I realized that my true passion was to create content that was meaningful and connected people through shared experiences.

My journey to starting my own marketing business started a few years ago when I first began freelancing. I started off taking photos but later expanded my work to include videography as well. I’ve actually been working with video for more than 5 years as I started out on YouTube at 15 years old (whew!). I basically grew up on YouTube because of the way I taught myself everything I know from editing video to shooting brand photography and now developing strong content strategy for businesses. Fun Fact: When I first started creating ANYTHING it was all on my phone. I didn’t have nearly as much equipment as I do now and it took a lot of time for me to build up to everything I now own. However, I was very persistent even at a young age and have sacrificed sleep, time and a lot more to get to where I am today.
